What
We Do

Malindi Community and Human Rights Centre, a dedicated community-based organization in Kilifi. Our mission is to uphold and advance individual rights, with a strong emphasis on protecting the rights of children and the community at large. We are committed to fostering a culture of respect for women and acknowledging their indispensable contributions to society. At the heart of our initiatives is the encouragement of community involvement in developmental issues, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued. We strive to promote social, economic, and political empowerment across the communities of Kilifi, empowering residents to shape their futures. Our services include providing essential legal aid to those in need and offering psychological support to uplift and assist individuals in challenging circumstances. We also conduct community barazas—open forums that facilitate transparent discussions and collective decision-making, reinforcing our commitment to community-led development. In times of human rights crises, our rapid response team acts swiftly to address and resolve incidents, ensuring safety and justice are promptly restored.
