We collaborate with like-minded partners, including the government, NGOs, and local communities, to spread hope and inspiration. “U Turn” represents a mindset shift from negativity to positivity.

We Do
U turn society is a faith based organization with an agenda of reaching out to the youths in the society through various platforms such sports, art, business etc. We also believe in working with like minded partners and friends in the government, NGO’s and local communities as we spread the message of hope, inspiration and motivation in the lives of people that have been entrusted to us. Uturn simply means a mind shift that results in behavioral change from negativity to a Today’s youth are dealing with many challenges that have rendered them ineffective and to some hopeless. U-turn society has a God given mandate to stand in the gap not only to pray but to engage the community around us with mentorship programs, relatable activities and events with the hope of transforming minds and lives of people.
Challenges

Achievements
- Successful launch of physical fitness activities in December 2021, attracting diverse participants of all ages and gaining significant community interest.
- Ongoing collaboration with qualified fitness instructors within Kilifi County, offering activities such as aerobics, high-intensity workouts, and Zumba..
- Organized multiple basketball tournaments in collaboration with local teams, drawing participants from various locations and providing entertainment and family bonding opportunities.
- Peaceful organization and execution of football matches, promoting unity and changing perceptions among diverse groups.
- Upcoming plans to introduce volleyball and beach volleyball championships to take advantage of the beautiful beaches in the area.
- Future prospects of introducing rugby to the community, further diversifying sporting opportunities.
- Community outreach through charitable events, such as the visit to Lea Mwana Children’s Home, where essential supplies were provided to the children, fostering joy and entertainment through shared meals, activities, and performances.
- Successful evangelical missions and Thanksgiving events in Uyoma and Yimbo, Siaya, with a positive impact on young people, inspiring hope and encouraging positive lifestyle changes.

We provide sanitary pads to end teenage pregnancy and period poverty, while spreading the gospel of Jesus to empower girls and promote their well-being.
